I cannot speak Mandarin Chinese very well. I need more practice. That is why I visit this site. It forces me to read Chinese characters. I need that practice! Feel free to send me a message in Chinese. I can use my computer to translate it if it is hard to read. If it is very easy to read, I can read it, even if I have to check many individual words.

My main suggestion is to simply start using English. This is how I am learning Chinese, by simply trying to use it at any time that I can. In 1984 I decided "I speak Spanish" and without much formal study I really can speak a little Spanish now. On a few days I've been albe to use only Spanish with Spanish speaking workers that I hired. Or, as we say in English "practice, practice, practice".
Don't forget the "little things" blog I wrote. You are still missing some "spaces" in what you wrote. There's a link to that blog now on most of my pages that Julian placed. It makes it easier to find.
I will be on line some this morning. We could talk on Skype if you like. I am a little sleepy, but I'll get going eventually.
