已有 223 次阅读 2009-09-08 17:36Hello! everyone. Nice to meet you all. My nick name is Olina. I lived in Changsha. It is a beautiful city. I am 28 years old. I want to study more English. This is my frist time to write blog on internet in English. Maybe I will make a lot of mistakes. I hope you could correct me directly. Today, I want to talk about my situation. I have been pregnant for seven months, and now I stay at home waiting my baby’s coming. I am full with happiness, and I hope all of you can share my joy.

Hello! Everyone, it is nice to meet you.
>>I lived in Changsha.
We have a few other members from Changsha. This helps reinforce my knowledge of Chinese geography because I try to remember where each province is as I see the name. It still amazes me that China has cites as large as Changsha and as Atlanta, Georgia, USA and I have no idea where the Chinese cities are located! But I'm learning!

Not yet! You'll have to write more, so I can read more about China! HA!

Done!

I suggestion: ". . . waiting for the birth of my baby." or ". . . waiting for my baby's birth."

That's cool! Having a child is such a wonderful experience! Of course, as a man, my role in childbirth is a little different than a woman. But I have never said something interesting about my own two biological children here on this website. Most American babies are born in hospitals. My two children were born at home, which is extremely unusual in the US. Probably less than 1% of all children here are born at home. WIth my second child, the midwife was delayed and I delivered her myself. Personally, I would have preferred a hospital delivery, but this was my wife's choice at the time and I respected and supported her wishes. The rest is a long story, as my two children's biological mother died when my children were still in school.
Hopefully you, your husband, and your child will have a long and happy life! Congradulations!
